"Spring stirs the blood" And so does your skin!

Spring is that time of year when everything blooms… including your skin (for better or worse). With the sun streaming through the window, the urge to go outside without a coat, and the longer days, come the small challenges this season poses for our skin.

Did you know that the change of season can be a real shock to your facial routine?

With increased sun exposure, pollen floating in the air, temperature changes, and a little more humidity, your skin can become more sensitive, dry, oily... or all at once. A spring cocktail for your face!

And if you have sensitive skin, atopic dermatitis, or psoriasis, this can be a particularly delicate time. Pollen can aggravate flare-ups, and the first rays of sunlight—as inviting as they are treacherous—can irritate or even trigger allergic reactions if we don't protect our skin properly.

But don't worry: we're here to tell you how to surf spring without damaging your skin.

Tips for happy skin in spring:

  • Sun protection, always. Even if it's cloudy. No matter what the month. Even if you don't have the time. SPF 30 as a minimum, every morning, and even better if it's SPF 50 .

  • Real hydration. The sun and spring wind can dry out your skin. Look for moisturizers with barrier functions to protect and nourish it.

  • Gentle but effective cleansing. Because pollen, sweat, and excess sebum also arrive with spring.

  • Exfoliate thoroughly. Once or twice a week is enough to renew your skin without damaging it or overdoing it.

  • Take care of your diet. Fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats are your best allies on the inside (and it always shows on the outside).

  • Don't underestimate specific treatments. From deep cleansing to soothing or anti-inflammatory products, depending on what your skin needs.

And if you have psoriasis or atopic dermatitis, take extra care when you get home: change your clothes, shower to remove any pollen, and if you have any questions, always consult a specialist.

Spring can be magical for your skin if you experience it mindfully. Listen to what it's asking for, adapt to its changes, and give it the care it deserves.

If you're already noticing the first changes in your skin, write to us and we'll help you adapt your routine to this new season.
